Display the most recent post only

    Hello. I want to have just one post display on my page – the most recent one. I’m using two shortcodes on the page: [ic_add_posts category=’attendance’][ic_add_posts showposts=’1′]. I also have set “Blog pages show at most” to 1 in the reading setting. The problem is that each of the several test posts I’ve done are showing up. Any ideas how I can accomplish what I’m trying to do? Thank you!

    Howdy sloplanning,

    I think your issue is that you’re using two shortcodes and you only need one.

    Try this instead: [ic_add_posts category='attendance' showposts='1']
