hi.
the previous verzion (1.9.2 )of the Jetpack From wordpress.com ( Automatic) – conflicted and the latest version ( 2.0.0 ) of the Jetpack also have conflict problem with 404 redirect plugin.
When user clicked on sharing buttons -opened a new window, for load the sharing providers page ( eg: facebook, twitter ), BUT – the 404 redict plugin doesnt aloved to do that –instead the new windo content redirected to the homepage – so the sharing isnt was avalaibel.
I take off the tick from the “automatic redirect” options from these 3 options:
“
Create automatic redirects for categories: HERE
Create automatic redirects for tags: HERE
Force current permalinks: HERE
Creates auto redirects for any url resolving to a post/page that doesn’t match the current permalinks”
And now works perfect ! – please check – what would cause the conflict – I would use again the automatic redict options.
CHeers.

Hi Zoltan. I also use jetpack together with 404 redirected. I disabled the automatic redirects but it still doesn’t work.
What are your other settings?

Chris – I deleted also the captured url’s, and took an extra step I added manualy those captured 404 url’s which faulted.
For example : ” /page-title/?nb=1&share=facebook ” redirect to facebook
Same with twitter, pinterest, etc
And also if you disable the plugin, and re- activate you need to doit again..
Temporary its ok.. Till wordpress jetpack developers fix that incompatibility issue..
Hope it will work for you as well.

Hi Zoltan,
Thank you for your feedback. I discovered that 404 redirect is not the problem but it’s another plugin (Category Grid View Gallery).
Kind regards,
Chris
@zoltan – thanks for your info here. This also resolved a problem I was having with a Fancybox popup. I simply unchecked the “Force current permalinks” box.
