Spell checker doesn’t seem to work

I’ve just upgraded to WordPress 2.1 and I like it a lot. I specially like the new “Spell checker” feature. However, it doesn’t seem to work. When I type words like “yuo” or “hejaufjk” it keeps saying “No misspellings found” when I hit the spell check button inthe editor.
