   I'm looking for a plugin to add an author image system similar to phpBB's avatar system. Basically, I want users to either upload or select from a central database of images. Most of the author image plugins I've seen don't offer the latter. I also would like it to automatically display without any settings from the user.

   Have you looked at Comvatar? While it uses the Gravatar and Favatar plugins, it also has a collection that you can use locally as well.

   It almost did what I want. I want it to display with ALL posts, not just comments. If I write a post, I want it to display instead of the little calendar, or whatever...
