   Hi,

   Is there a plugin or other method to search for URL's with posts.

   I have many posts on my blog linking to external sites however for SEO purposes I wish to remove any links that have been changed or return 404s.

   I have a list of URLs I wish to search for within my posts but not sure if this is possible.

   Any help would be much appreciated,

   Well, have you tried it?

   If something resides in a post's content, you should be able to search for it either through a search on the blog itself, or under Manage > Posts in your WordPress admin. A URL will work just as a well as a bit of regular text.

   Hi,

   I did try and search for a URL in a post but it is not found. If I search for the anchor text or a URL it can be found. But if i search for the actual address my search returns no results :(

   Not sure what to do.
