Dots instead of thumbnails

This is the most sophisticated slideshow plugin available and I’m playing with the BETA v4 because a few of the new features are ‘must have’ options.

As much as I love the thumbnail feature, my boss does not, and would like to have DOTS that are both clickable and highlight when their related slide is displaying. That’s where I’m stuck. I replaced the thumbail images with a background bullet image, and because it’s already playing off the thumbnail code, it highlights on hover, but I don’t know how to modify the code so that the coordinating bullets highlight automatically. I’m sooooo close.

I’ve enjoyed digging around in the code and css, but now I’m past my skill level. I am willing to pay someone to help with this fix.
