1) Permalink 2) which is best book for Word Press

Hi Everyone

Can you please help me to modify the permalink that came with my chosen stylesheet. It has a graphic before the site URL in the title name and I cannot see how to modify the graphic

2) Can anyone recommend the best book to learn Word Press? IIt seems that this is recommended – CSS: The Definitive Guide

I can write HTML, and also I used Serif Web PlusX4 but feel I am needing to start again to grasp wordpress, I am totally lost

I am wishing to create a static site with 10 pages, index tabs on top of page, and a blog page. Pages will also embed JWPlayer for video
