    Hello,

I have tried several ways to fix this problem but nothing I have tried has worked. I have a category called 'blog' and the problem is that when I click on that category link, I receive a 404 error and an additional 500 Internal Server Error.

I have tried deleting the category and renaming it something else 'blog stuff' and I still receive the same error. I have several categories, so I deleted a few of them to see if I could recreate 'blog'. This didn't work. I have created pages just to see if I could and I can.

I e-mailed Yahoo Tech support and they replied that they didn't support WordPress. I am thinking that it is a server problem since I also receive a 500 error.

I have also tired using different themes, even the default one, and I still have the missing category page.

    My website is at http://www.muchtodoaboutnothing.com/

Thanks for your time and advise in advance.

    Stu

    Because you are cheating :)
Your WP install is in a physical folder called "blog"...
    http://muchtodoaboutnothing.com/blog/
when I clicked the title of your blog on
http://muchtodoaboutnothing.com/ > it takes me to the address above.
IN this case you cannot have a category called "blog" - it will "confuse" WP.

This is the address where I receive the error http://muchtodoaboutnothing.com/blog/archives/category/blog/

And I also created a new category called 'blog stuff' and received the same error.

Don't use any word like "blog" which is an existing real folder. I am afraid you didn't read carefully my previous answer...

I just tried 'blog-ability' and have the same result.

And I just changed the category to 'weblog' from 'blog-ability' and it seems to work now.

    Thanks,
