Valid XHTML
-
When I got my site going, and hit the “valid xhtml” link, I got the following error from w3.org:
” Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 447 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.”
What does this mean, and why is it happening, and is it important?
Thanks to anyone who can help…I’m a not a programmer at all, so I don’t know what the heck is going on with most of the WP errors I seem to be getting constantly.
