(?)-marks before doc-type, failing validation

Hi all. I just checked my site http://www.bloxpress.org after i made some final modifications and also switching from xhtml 1.0 trans to xthml 1.0 strict.

theres is some strange error. I get questionsmarks before header.php starts.. usally thats because of wrong content-type.

question are:
– where could that come from?
– could i set content type before header? *doh*
– has wp-option for utf-8 no effect at all?
– any suggestions?

it’s the only error.. lol.. annoying.
