   Has anybody been able to configure the
   ‘Category Visibility’ Plugin for wordpress 2.2.

   The plugin is exactly what I need, but the current version freaked out my posts, by displaying double on a single post page.

   After deactivating the plugin it the double posts stopped.

   Anyways just wondering if anyone has a working version of 2.2.

   As an alternative, try the Ultimate Category Excluder plugin.

   I have the exact same behavior. The post displays once for each category it is in!

   Try the Category Access plugin: http://www.coppit.org/code/

   That is what I am using now, after Category Visibility broke.

   It doesn't appear that Category Access works with WP 2.3.
