Awesome theme, I really like it a lot. I’m seriously thining about implementing it for my site.
The only criticism I can think of is that it feels a little too functional, not very personal for a blog. But, that’s just a made criticism I threw out just for the sake of being judgemental.
you’re right.. it’s way too clean but i like it! 🙂

Yeah, I can see where you’re coming from. However, this is a topic-focused blog. My personal site uses a different WP theme that I made for myself which feels more suited to a “personal” blog.
And will you make that personal site theme available for others?
I like the Way Too Clean theme, especially the inclusion of the contact form on the frontpage. However, I was wondering about the subscribe to comments. It doesn’t seem to be working for me. Do I have to install some sort of
plugin?

Yes, you have to install the subscribe to comments plugin. I’ll be updating the documentation (or just plain removing that checkbox/label combo) and re-releasing when I get home from work today. Thanks for the heads-up!
As for the personal site theme, I hadn’t thought about releasing it but if there’s enough demand I guess I could document it all and release it too. That one’s nothing special but if people like it…

Everyone: Version 1.1 of Way Too Clean is now available. The CSS and HTML have been changed in a few places to support more browsers, make reading posts easier, and remove hooks to WP plugins that you may not have in your base install. The installation instructions are now way more detailed for easier understanding as well. It’s still at the same location pointed to in the first post of this thread. Have fun downloading!
