It would also be nice if I the video of a sticke post would be visible in the slider (since it's for a site with funny videos, I have no images in the posts).

It can be done but it's not easy. There is actually a solution for this on themhybrid.com forums but the forum is not free.

That's no really a good way to do it unless you first copy that file to child theme.

I would just use video post format when editing post.

I found the first answer: i changed 'excerpt' to 'content' in content.php. Now the slider....

Hi, first of all: I really love this theme!

But I have a question: how can I get the embedded youtube video in the story shown on the frontpage? Now they're filtered out and are only visible in the single posts. I believe it ha something to with the excerpts (in the functions.php file?), but I'm no developer so I am stuck... :(
