http://wordpress.org/support/ WordPress › Support Topic: upload not working en Tue, 24 Nov 2009 16:43:01 +0000 http://wordpress.org/support/topic/286714#post-1126549 Sun, 05 Jul 2009 06:33:23 +0000 crafterfeb 1126549@http://wordpress.org/support/ <p>hi,</p> <p>previously, the media upload module was working fine. files were uploaded under uploads/2009/04, which was april.</p> <p>today, i'm getting a message that the folder <em>"uploads/2009/07"</em> is not writable.</p> <p>i have change the folder permissions of <em>"uploads/"</em>, <em>"2009/"</em>, and <em>"07/"</em> to <strong>755</strong> then to <strong>777</strong> and have tried using the html uploader version but I still get the same message.</p> <p>here is the complete error message:<br /> <em>Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/c240821/podcastloot.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?</em></p> <p>i hope you can help me with this issue.</p> <p>thank you and god bless. </p>
