I created a gallery and uploaded an image, unfortunately the caption/description looks really strange - characters like åäö are displayed in a really strange way.</p> <p>I assume it's a character encoding issue (utf8 in the EXIF is interpreted as latin1 or somthing similar), I looked at various posts in the support forum but I didn't really understand how to fix it.</p> <p>I looked at the database and all tables seem to use 'utf8_general_ci', the only other encoding mentioned is the last "summary line" in phpadmin that says something like this:</p> <p>13 table(s) Sum 208 MyISAM latin1_swedish_ci 443.8 KiB 0 B</p> <p>Does anyone have a suggestion for how I can fix this so the EXIF info is interpreted correctly? </p>
