I have to reupload it (the exact same image) in each post as a separate file to make it appear in the gallery of each post. That is an unnecessary use of resources on both the server and the client ends. It works great as long as you have just a couple, like 10, of images. The problem is that it won't become part of the gallery for any post except for the first one it was uploaded on.
