Hi,

When I add the sideposts widget (V2.1.2) to my sidebar (either sidebar 1 or 2) and click on edit, it deletes the the widget selection from the sidebar instead of opening a pop-up box to configure the settings.
Do you know what is causing the problem? Thanks for your help.

FYI: The link provided for sideposts manual no longer exists.
http://alkivia.org/manuals/sideposts:manual

Best regards,
Gina

I've been looking at your site and I cannot see why it behaves different on front page and other pages. I think shown text is the post excerpt and you may have chosen to show 'excerpts with thumbnails'. What I cannot see is why on home the excerpt is not shown. Also the 'Show full post text' looks have been replaced by 'Download'.

Did you hacked the plugin, or using any other plugin to do this? Can you tell us the settings for the widget?

Thank you for your fast reply. I'll try that. And what about the first question? Can you help me with it?

You have not to translate the PHP files. You have to create your own translation files, as this plugin supports i18n (translation to other languages).

To have your own translation, you need a free tool like poEdit which will help you translating any plugin.

You have to create a PO and MO file, and poEdit will help you with this, just start poEdit, select create a new translation from POT file (in menus), chose sideposts.pot and save the newly created file as sideposts-ru_RU.po (the MO file is a compiled version and is created automatically). Then you can translate your PO file to get the plugin in Russian. (I think Russian locale is ru_RU, if not, change this on the filename).

Hi! Thanks for this great plugin, i was looking just for it. But i have a few questions.

1. Look at my site here (post page, not main) - http://videofreak.ru/popdance/skachat-video-alizee-gourmandises-vob/
On my main page it looks pretty good, but when i go to any post it looks like it looks right now. Check it please and let me know what i can do to make it look like it looks on my main page.
2. I tried to change Read Full Post to Russian language and when i checked the site, there were no normal words, there were something like symbols. I guess it has something to do with different unicodes. I think my website has UTF 8, so what can i do to make the text readable?

Thanks in advance!
