The initial auto upgrade seems to have been the cause of the first issue, "Plugin not installed properly - see README". I noticed that there was no Carrington Mobile folder in the zipped plugin, only a wp-mobile. So I downloaded the Carrington Mobile theme and manually installed it, while putting the wp-mobile.php file from the zipped plugin into my plugins folder. Install seemed fine, but then I was having the same issues as johnbakeronline.

Later I noticed the upgrade notification to 3.0.2. Tried that, back to the initial improper install - see readme. Manually downloaded plugin, unzipped, still no Carrington Mobile theme folder included. Since I had already manually installed the theme, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. So I deleted everything.

This morning I see the 3.0.3 release. Download, unzip, I see the Carrington Mobile theme included now. I notice the one I manually installed was carrington-mobile.1.0.1 (dot 101) and the one included in the plugin is carrington-mobile-1.0.1 (dash 101). Deleted my manually installed dot 101 and installed the dash 101 along with the new wp-mobile.php and all appears to be working smoothly.
