<description>&#60;p&#62;I have been running WordPress for a long time, I added SMF a few weeks ago (not integrated with WP) and it's been running fine.  The problem is that an SMF patch was just released and when I click on the link for the auto-update it returns me to WP with the &#34;Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.&#34; page.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I tried editing the .htaccess file and added:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;blockquote&#62;&#60;p&#62;
   RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/forums/*&#60;br /&#62;
   RewriteRule .* - [L]
&#60;/p&#62;&#60;/blockquote&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Under &#34;RewriteEngine On&#34; and forums being the location of the install of SMF.  This just results in a 403 error.  All I want WP to do is not screw with the /forums/ sub folder.&#60;/p&#62;
