I think modifiedcontent is referring to the import process when you have embed and script tags for posts in the Wordpress XML import file:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/251411

I can confirm that even when you have the Unfiltered MU plugin active and you're a site admin or administrator of the blog in question, the Wordpress importer still strips all embed and script tags when importing the posts into your MU blog.

donncha, if you can extend support for Unfiltered MU so it will work with the importer that would be extremely useful.

Thanks for reading.

modifiedcontent, johnny_n - the plugin only adds unfiltered_html to the administrator and editor roles, just like in regular WordPress.

It's a *huge* security risk allowing this on a multi user blog system so only very trusted users should have access to this capability.

Farms' "fix" adds the capability to author and contributor but I don't recommend using it.

Despite having Unfiltered MU activated, all my object tags (video on Blip.tv) were still stripped from my Wordpress export file. I have WPMU 2.8.4 on a fresh install.

What is the latest on this annoying issue?
