If you've had a plugin in use for a long time, it may not come to mind right away that you had made some small modification to your files to accommodate it.</p> <p>For instance, I use the Sideblog plugin, which requires me to add the tag <code>&lt;?php sideblog(&#39;asides&#39;); ?&gt;</code> to my sidebar. I was in the beginning of the upgrade process and so deactivating all the plugins on my site, when after deactivating a few, the whole site just went blank. I can't get into admin now and my web site shows up blank!</p> <p>That's all I did, so I don't know why deactivating a plugin would break my whole site.</p> <p>What on earth happened? Anybody know how to troubleshoot this? I'm now getting error msgs from the database as well when I run a table cleanup on it... </p>
