<description>&#60;p&#62;I did place the analytics code myself in the root wordpress index.php, not in footer.php. Is all I have to do remove it from one and place it in the footer.php within those tags?

<description>&#60;p&#62;Check the root WordPress index.php file as well. Adding the code here is a common noob mistake.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I started my first reply with a &#34;straight&#34; answer, mentioning the &#60;strong&#62;footer.php&#60;/strong&#62; file. It is always the footer file of your active theme.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Furthermore, as you can see that code comes from the Google analytics, so either you, either a plugin put it there. There is no other way.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I understand what you're saying that there must be nothing after the closing tags, what I'm trying to tell you is that I have no idea where the hell that code IS, as in which file! is it index.php? footer.php? which one? I dont know where to look to &#60;em&#62;correct&#60;/em&#62; the mistake.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;And yes, I looked at the so-called help links, but they only help people who know what to look for. I have no idea what it's talking about, or for that matter, what &#60;em&#62;you're&#60;/em&#62; talking about.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I just need a straight answer, as in, &#34;look in this file, edit this part of the code, and you should be good to go.&#34; I'm sure it's my own mistake, I'm not denying that, just don't slap it in my face.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Man, when I say something like &#34;you have a code after the closing&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;pre&#62;&#60;code&#62;&#38;lt;/body&#38;gt;
&#38;lt;/html&#38;gt;&#60;/code&#62;&#60;/pre&#62;
&#60;p&#62; -- that means that I have looked at it.&#60;br /&#62;
Checked even the feed validator:&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;a href=&#34;http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.robotforest.com%2Ffeed&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.robotforest.com%2Ffeed&#60;/a&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
Did you click on the &#34;help&#34; link(s)???&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This is what you have in your source code:&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;pre&#62;&#60;code&#62;&#38;lt;/body&#38;gt;
&#38;lt;/html&#38;gt;
&#38;lt;script type=&#38;quot;text/javascript&#38;quot;&#38;gt;
var gaJsHost = ((&#38;quot;https:&#38;quot; == document.location.protocol) ? &#38;quot;https://ssl.&#38;quot; : &#38;quot;http://www.&#38;quot;);
document.write(unescape(&#38;quot;%3Cscript src=&#38;#39;&#38;quot; + gaJsHost + &#38;quot;google-analytics.com/ga.js&#38;#39; type=&#38;#39;text/javascript&#38;#39;%3E%3C/script%3E&#38;quot;));
&#38;lt;/script&#38;gt;
&#38;lt;script type=&#38;quot;text/javascript&#38;quot;&#38;gt;
var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker(&#38;quot;UA-5060344-3&#38;quot;);
pageTracker._trackPageview();
&#38;lt;/script&#38;gt;&#60;/code&#62;&#60;/pre&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So, who put it there if not you?&#60;br /&#62;
And as I said: there must be NOTHING after the closing html tag!

<description>&#60;p&#62;ive never even opened the footer.php file. ive never changed it.&#60;br /&#62;
If you wanna see it yourself, try validating blog.robotforest.com and you'll see the error.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It's an &#34;a href&#34; tag that's at the top of the code and I have no idea how it got there. I've looked through all the Theme files and I can't find the code that the feed validator references.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Don't put ever anything in your footer.php file OUTSIDE of&#60;br /&#62;
/body&#60;br /&#62;
/html&#60;br /&#62;
Everything MUST be inside of those tags.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;And it has nothing to do with subdomains - as always it is a user mistake!

<description>&#60;p&#62;I have WP installed on my site example.com, and the RSS feed works fine. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;However, I also have a subdomain with WP installed, and the RSS feed does not work.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Mosu, I've been to the Feed Validator and it didn't help. It shows me my error but I have no idea what file it is in so I have no way of editing out the error. Do you know what file it's in?
