There is some sort of conflict between these two plugins.

Both seem to function correctly, but if I check the WP-UserOnline stats in the dashboard, most of my visitors show up as being on a 'page not found'

After carefully disabling plugins I found out the conflict is with QuickTime Posting. As soon as i disable that plugin, WP-UserOnline shows the correct URL's my visitors are on.

Unfourtunatly, I absolutly need the QuickTime Posting plugin since I have a whole section of childrens songs on my website in midi format that my visitors can listen to.

Although i don't need WP-Useronline, I still would like to use it.

Anyone know how to solve this issue or have an alternative for one (or both) plugins?

Thanks,

Ron

I'd like to know if I could get some advice on how to make it so both guests and members can see the list of registered members!

That simple? It works!
Can i leave the page status draft, so it won't show on the page bar, or does this mean that users won't see it.
Thanks a lot!

Installed the plugin on a 2.8 test blog and it works for me, so revisit these instructions:

 1. Go to 'WP-Admin -> Pages -> Add New'
2. Type any title you like in the post's title area
3. If you ARE using nice permalinks, after typing the title, WordPress will generate the permalink to the page. You will see an 'Edit' link just beside the permalink.
4. Click 'Edit' and type in 'useronline' in the text field (without the quotes) and click 'Save'.
5. Type '[page_useronline]' in the post's content area (without the quotes)
6. Click 'Publish'
7. If you ARE NOT using nice permalinks, you need to go to 'WP-Admin -> Settings -> Useronline' and under 'UserOnline URL', you need to fill in the URL to the UserOnline Page you created above.

@kmaz

Just FYI, your plugin appears to conflict with the wp-useronline plugin by Lester Chan.

The error is:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare useronline() (previously declared in /home/sechrest/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-useronline/wp-useronline.php:86) in /home/sechrest/public_html/wp-content/plugins/WP-Online-Status/WP-online-status.php on line 122

It appears both plugins declare a useronline() function.

I changed the name of your function and the add_action() call that uses it as well, and it at least allowed me to activate the plugin. Haven't yet tested functionality.

Hi, I just wrote a plugin WP-ONLINE-STATUS that does that. It displays Online or Offline for every user on your Wordpress blog. You can change the default texts in the admin and some others options.

You can download it here

Oops sorry got mixed up. The one I'm using uses some code in functions.php to get the relative date but it doesn't support timezone offset and hacking it is too confusing for me. So I'm switching to your plugin.

I'm using comment_date() and after activating your plugin it, and posting a comment. It doesn't show a relative date.

Hi,

Does your relative date plugin take into consideration time zones? I'm using the plugin on my blog but the times shown are not accurate. For example one of the post was posted more than a day ago (about 39 hours ago) but the plugin says it's 22 hours ago.

To see what I mean go to http://aenui.com/ rollover the dates to see the actual time and date into the tooltip (title attribute).

The code I'm using is...

<?php echo how_long_ago(get_the_time('U')); ?> and <?php echo how_long_ago(get_comment_time('U')); ?>

GamerZ, first off you, your plugins are fabulous, thank you for creating them!

Second, I just upgraded to WP 2.7 and now your WP-Print plugin does not work anymore. You can see the error I'm getting if you go to my blog and click on the "Print this Post" option at the bottom of a post.

I thought this might have been a permalink structure issue (which happened with some other plugins), but even after I re-saved the permalink options I'm getting this error. How do I fix it?

Thanks =)

Due to large number of requests, I have decided not to retire WP-Sticky and I have update it to 1.40 to make it compatible with WordPress 2.7. Check the link in the first post.
