I tried HITS png fix but that didn't play nice with my design... In fact it threw things all over the place! What I did to get through validation was to create a separate js file for that section I was having issues with and now everything is fine.

Any further thoughts with this? I'm quite surprised nobody else has come across this issue.

I've run my blog through validation and it's failing on the WP pngfix section of the code. Here's where:

XML Parsing Error: xmlParseEntityRef: no name
	if(($.browser.msie)&(parseInt($.browser.version)<7)){

XML Parsing Error: StartTag: invalid element name
	if(($.browser.msie)&(parseInt($.browser.version)<7)){

the no name is the & symbol

the invalid element name is the < symbol

I have a transparent png in the header and this plugin works great for that but I also have some pngs that are brought in from the css code i.e. fancy bullet points. The fix doesn't seem to be working for those.

Any ideas?
