You're probably using a theme which hasn't been checked in IE6 or a decision has been made to not support it.

You have a few choices

Change to another theme

Try to fix the CSS yourself if you have the skills

Try to fix the CSS with help from the IE6 CSS Fixer (I don't know if this works though)

Install a plugin to warn IE6 users

Shrug and tell yourself that anyone daft enough to use a browser that's over eight years old doesn't deserve to see your blog

I noticed that when logged in i go to view a post and the sidebar goes completely under the content. if I log out and view the same post, the side bar remains on the side like it should. It seems like there is a missing </div> somewhere. I played around with it and could make the opposite occur, ie side bar move when not logged in and stay when logged in, but i haven't found how to make it stay both when logged in and when not logged in.

The image need to be no wider than 605px. Right now, your header doesn't have a specified height but appears to be around 200px high. Upload a suitable image - called header.jpg - to your theme's images directory. Then edit style.css and change:

#content #header {
border-bottom:1px solid #CCCCCC;
margin-bottom:10px;
}

There is a critical conflict between the popular Typograph theme and the new WordPress 2.8. I've already created a fix that solves the problem. A full upgrade of Typograph will be published later today but for current installations the fix consists of just replacing one file. Here are instructions:

1. Download and unzip the archive with the fixed functions.php file here.
2. Access your Typograph theme directory in your hosted WordPress installation (should be under http://www.yoursitename.com/wp-content/themes/Typograph).
3. Delete the old functions.php file under the Typograph theme directory.
4. Upload the new functions.php file to the Typograph theme directory.

I have tested this critical fix and it works.

However, it doesn't work for 1024x768 (the sidebar pops down to the bottom of the screen). Real shame!

I've installed slimbox 2 (with nextgen gallery). Works fine.

Workaround:
open typograph/comments.php
delete the first two lines of code (the scripts)

<script src="http://js.nicedit.com/nicEdit-latest.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Hi,

I'm using Typograph theme with WP 2.7 on http://www.aksb.org. It was working fine until I installed a great plugin: Mailing List. Now the tabbed box doesn’t work. I deactivated the plugin just to confirm my suspicions and then the box worked again. Now the plugin has been re-activated and again the tabbed box doesn't work, so you can go the site and see for yourself.

Any ideas…?

@awrosey: To change the alignment of the image captioning all you have to do is edit the p.wp-caption-text style in the stylesheet. You'll find it on line 185. Just add text-align:center; to it and the text will align to center:

#content p.wp-caption-text {
font-size: 0.8em;
padding-top: 5px;
padding-right: 6px;
padding-left: 6px;
color: #999999;
text-align: center;
}
