Great, really, really great!

This evening (in Germany, it's already evening), I spent hours and hours of trying to get syntax highlightening to work on my blog.

With every plugin, there was at least one point, why I did not like the plugin. It either looked f*cking or it simply didn't work or, or, or.

This tool is just f*cking great!

THANK YOU!

PS: you may want to take a look at my WP plugin:

There should be an option to wrap long lines or leave them alone and allow for horizontal scrolling.

Other than that, I think this is the best syntax highlighter out there.

Screenshot
Line:6
Error: "this.Style" is null or no object.

Syntaxhighlighter-plus does not display the horizontal scrollbar in Firefox 3. Also the numbers are 01, 02, etc in FF. The scrollbar appears correctly in IE. I am using the iNove theme, if that makes a difference.

The original Syntaxhighligher plug-in does not work well in IE with fixed width themes. Specifically, Syntaxhighligher does not add the horizontal scrollbar correctly for IE. But in Firefox 3, the horizontal scrollbar works. This was originally the reason I attempted to use the Syntaxhighligher-plus plugin.

Perhaps these two plugins can be combined so that the best of both is available to IE and FF users.

Hi,

I'm using your plugin and noticed that the empty keyword is being duplicated. Incidentally, this problem only seems to exist in the actual color-coded portion...if you click "view plain", the problem does not exist.

Here's an example (go about 3/4 down the page and/or search for "empty"):
http://wordpresshacker.com/change-author-comment-style/

Hi Fred,

Thanks for the great plugin. - I switched from Codecolorer because of the 'copy to clipboard' and 'print code' features.

After implementing and testing I figured out two little bugs:

The CSS file does not validate.

If I print (e.g. Firefox 3 and Adobe 8) a long code line, only the first part of the loc is shown.

One more thought: Regarding the necessary javascript/flash, is it possible for you to include a check, whether there is a [sourcecode] block within the currently loaded page? - This would save bandwidth and increase loading time for code-less pages.

Cheers,
Berny

I just installed this plugin and have a little problem with it.
The block where the code is containing is invading a little bit of my right sidebar.
