Hiya Jon,

I don't think Smart 404 will be able to help you with this one - it's only really for permalinks, not for changes in domain. Instead, I suggest a little htaccess redirect instead.

Something like (untested, of course):

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} http://www.foodandwaterwatch.org
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://blog.foodandwaterwatch.org/$1 [R=301,L]
</IfModule>

Put that at the start of .htaccess in your WP installation's root, should sort you out.

ok, I have inbound links coming from

http://www.foodandwaterwatch.org/blog/archive/2009/10/09/the-water-challenge-chronicles-jon-week-5/

my blog url is actually

http://blog.foodandwaterwatch.org/blog/archive/2009/10/09/the-water-challenge-chronicles-jon-week-5/

very slight difference .www to .blog anyway all incoming links do not trigger any sort of redirect in any way. I could really use a helping hand!

Jon

This plugin works like a charm. Just don't forget to edit the 404.php in your template.

I'm confused by the WP "updated" plugins. If this is only compatible with 2.6, I would think it's "outdated". ?
