Hello,

Tried to install the plug-in today, I got this error when I tried to go to the admin part.

My blog is here: http://jpsblog.org

As you can see, I've already done quite a bit of styling work on my sidebar (especially that hover effect). Now, I want to take one last step but I'm not sure how. I want separate widgets into their own boxes (ie put margins in between the widgets), and then rounded corners for each of those boxes. How should I go about doing that?

Here's what my style.css code for the sidebar looks like right now:

#secondary, #third{
background-color:  #BAD6EC;
text-align:left;
padding: 0px;
border: 0px #3574A8;
SP_GRADIENT
}

#secondary h4, #third h2{
background-color:  #3574A8;
color: #BAD6EC;
font-family: Verdana;
font-size: 95%;
font-weight: bold;
text-align:center;
margin-top: 0px;
padding: 7px;
}

#menu {background: #BAD6EC; border-left: 3px solid #3574A8; border-top: solid 3px #3574A8; border-right: solid 3px #3574A8; border-bottom: solid 3px #3574A8; padding: 0px 0px 10px 0px; position: absolute; right: 2px; top: 0; margin-left: 10px; text-align:left; font-size:100%; }
#menu a { text-decoration:none; color: #BAD6EC; }
#menu ul li {font-family: Verdana; font-size: 85%; font-weight: normal; text-align:left; color: #3574A8; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; }
#menu ul li a { display:block; padding:4px 4px 4px 10px; text-decoration:none; color: #000000; }

Hello,

I'm trying to make my art/blog site fully in wordpress and i've been trying to get the post to have rounded corners. my seasrch in this forum led me to this site (http://kalsey.com/2003/07/rounded_corners_in_css/), which is pretty neat and clean codes. I've integrated it into my own index code for the post/entry and it seems to work fine for the top and bottom right corners, but the top and bottom LEFT corners are not showing up (in IE and Firefox). Below is the codes for my index.php and style.css (the ones that are added, nothing else modified). ANy help or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks ::

Thank you Clayton, though I may still not understand. Please correct my errors below...

I place the following 2 scripts in my Header.php
section...

I create css code such as...

#divsample
	{
	position: relative;
	margin-left: auto;
	margin-right: auto;
	margin-top: 3em;
	padding: 0;
	text-align: left;
	background-color: #eeeeee;
        width:80%;
	}

Finally, I create the
below...

Rounded

What am I missing to make this function?

At the risk of being pedantic, ( and thinking simply that you may not have seen this ) was anything located here at all useful?

"To use Javascript repeatedly within your site, you can either set the call for the Javascript, or the script itself, in the head of your header.php template file, between the meta tags and the style sheet link, no differently than you would if you were using Javascript in any HTML page. To "load" the Javascript file into your site, in the head, add something like this:"

I know this doesn't help but if they're not at 90 degrees they're not corners. A corner can't be rounded - that's a curve ;)

Once again, I'm having difficulty in executing this code. I'm not certain how to call the jquery script.

Place the following code in the
section of Header.php:

Here's the box to be placed in the post:

Simple Example

.rounded{background-color:#acc; padding:5px}

2. Could I place the code in my header.php template?

3. How do I make the layer/div recognize it...is it as simple as adding class="rounded" as the example above?

I would like to execute rounded corners for text boxes on my pages and the best approach seems to be using jquery. Though they (http://www.atblabs.com/jquery.corners.html) have provided the code (below) and the js files, I do not know how to call the js files from the script provided...any suggestions would be appreciated.

  Simple Example

I would suspect I could place the above script into my header.php, but how does the script and the class="rounded" know where the js files are? I have placed the js files into a folder called scripts on my main directory.

I would like to introduce Deal_Times light blue theme for WordPress 2.6.
It is 3 column design with flexible main content area, 2 fixed width sidebars (both are right side sidebars), semantically correct, SEO friendly light blue. It is valid XHTML and CSS theme. I tested and tweaked it to work in Firefox, Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Google Chrome and Safari for Windows.
Description and download is here
Your comments, impressions and notes are very welcome.

OK, first couple of flaws found (tiny ones that most people won't encounter unless they use nested lists). Easy fix:

Open style.css

On line #228 find

background: url(images/bullet.gif) no-repeat left;

Replace with

background: url(images/bullet.gif) no-repeat top left;

On blank line #231, add:

.post ul ul, .post ol ol {
	font-size: inherit;
}

Well, there are about a hundred thousand ways to design rounded corners. Check out this google search: http://www.google.com/search?q=rounded+corners

I like the techniques outlined by Stu Nicholls at CSSplay. He has a rounded corners tutorial.
http://www.cssplay.co.uk/boxes/four_cornered.html

How's it going everyone? My name is George and I'm a new Theme developer. I must confess, I have become a WordPress junkie telling my customers that want to run a Web site to go WordPress, this and that...

I've been using archaic image editing tools like CorelDraw9 and would like to ask some of you gurus out there how you create your rounded corners. I know it seems like a stupid question, but I've been struggling with this for the past two weeks or so.

thanks!!!
