Hello... I see that Lightbox Plus now works with the gallery feature. This is great and very useful. Is it possible, however to add exceptions? I want most of my pages to use lightbox but I have a parent page in which I only want the images to link to other pages.

Lightbox only seems to work w/ worpress gallery if you have the auto-lightbox feature clicked. Which auto lightboxes my parent page images as well. Is there an exception that can be added?

I currently have this option unchecked. My guess would be that leaving it unchecked means that images should automatically get the rel="lightbox[postid]" added. But this doesn't happen. I still have to add it manually.

Is this a bug? I'm confused.

Today I made the switch to your plugin from another Lightbox plugin. Yours is way better! But there is one problem. I miss the option to disable grouping of images.

I would like to be able to scroll thru all images on a page, independent of what Post ID that is inside the brackets.

Going thru all my posts to remove the Post ID in the rel attribute doesn't seem as a valid solution.

I was orginally using colorbox before it was decided to use Wordpress.

When using colorbox on it's own it was possible to hide a flash slideshow in the background, which doesn't seem to be currently possible 'out of the box' with Lightbox Plus or Colorbox.

The author of colorbox provided a solution here, for Colorbox without Wordpress, but I don't know how to apply it to a wordpress page, or if there is there a more appropriate solution?

Can anyone help?

Oh and BTW, the main two reasons I want to switch away from Lightbox Plus are:
1) It won't properly size my images (hence why it shows scrollbars)
2) It won't work with SimplePress Forum.

Hello,

Today I noticed Lightbox Plus was acting goofy (showing scroll bars for images instead of properly showing the images). So I disabled Lightbox Plus and tried various other Lightbox (or other ones like Fancybox) plugins. However none of them are working. To make sure it was not just a plugin conflict, I disabled all other plugins but my Lightbox ones and they still don't work.

Help please.

Thanks.

Brilliant plugin, but I was finding it impossible to eliminate scrollbars in one of my sites using all combinations of maximum width, height, resize etc. It worked in some browsers but not others.

Then I noticed there is a new setting in colorbox 1.3.0 to turn off scrollbars altogether. This isn't yet carried through as an option in lightbox plus (1.6.3), so I've come up with a quick hack.

Add a new line 165 in lightbox.php as follows

$lightboxPlusJavaScript .= ' $lbp.fn.colorbox.settings.scrollbars = false;'.$this->EOL( );

Hey presto - scrollbars gone in all browsers and a lovely clean popup.

If that could now be a configurable option in lightbox plus it would make a great plugin even greater!

Let me take a look. There's a chance that smash gallery is calling it's own version of jQuery and I'm loading the one that comes with WordPress which really is the preferable way to do it I think.

LBP also uses Colorbox which is set up for jQuery chaining so it's possible that other plugins using jQuery that aren't set up that way are stomping on jQuery for LBP.

Hello ALL,
I setup smash gallery and lightbox-plus to work together in my site.
I have one issue, Jquery that runs my image slide show on the root doesnt seem to to work when photosmash gallery and lightbox-plus is active. When I change the directory on the jquery.php file as in >>1jquery.php the slide show wont work and make "smash gallery and lighbox-plus" work great. When I active jquery for the image slide show on the root "theaub.com"then the plugins dont work (photosmash gallery and lightbox-plus).
So, I would like to fix the conflict between each other.

Can anyone help me fix this issue "PLEASE.

I think I may have a method for it but I need to try it out.

Basically you need to use the class method and have the gallery add the class to the image links and I think it should work.

Fixed with some simple CSS:

#cboxOverlay { display:none; }

cbox will still display properly afterwords.

Dang! Now I have installed and tested on Chrome, and the same exact problem!! Turned off Javascript, and it shows.

Seems the background color of the BODY is all that shows up and is covering everything? This is in Safari 4 and in Chrome 2. The page is there, but covered? Javascript problem, or me? I am running WinXP Home SP2.
