Hm, it looks like something is not working quite alright on your server. Apparently, not all files can be copied. Please contact your server manager. This is not a Lazyest Gallery issue.

the lazyest-gallery plugin should be in the lazyest-gallery directory.
please try this: delete the lazyest-gallery directory and install by using the wordpress installer.

-- I installed it the usual way, and as per your installation instructions: I downloaded it to my PC, unzipped it, and FTPed it to my WP installation.

-- there is a file:
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/lazyest-gallery.0.14.0.4/lazyest-admin.php (I also tried dropping the ".0.14.0.4", no difference). However that is not what the Error seems to be referring to- there is no /wp-admin/lazyest-gallery/ folder.

If you don't have any formatting rules in your stlesheet for the classnames that you find unnecessary, they shouldn't be a problem.
Anyhow, the comment list is standard Wordpress stuff.
Could you please share the URL of your site so we can look what the problem is?

please don't WTF me.

The comment classes are generated by Wordpress by
wp_list_comments()

You could add formatting to classes
commentlist
and
comment
in the stylesheet of your theme. Or analyse the formatting of comments on non-gallery posts.

Each time comments_template() (in single.php or page.php) is called, Lazyest Gallery uses a filter to display the comments for a particular image. So changing wp_list_comments() to comments_template() won't help you.
I'd suggest to add/change the styles for the elements in Lazyest Gallery's comments list.

I use the Lazyest Gallery plugin which uses wp_list_comments to list comments to folders and images and even the posts the folder gallery belongs to.

It shows comments in an unformatted way, not like on my other pages.

I compared single.php's method to the Lazyest Gallery and i see the former uses comments_template() to list comments while the latter uses wp_list_comments.

I changed wp_list_comments to comments_template but it now doesnt list comments but echoes "2 Comments to “Article”" in an infinite loop.

Anybody know what can i do?

right, thanks
I've spotted the issue.
The problem is that the filename is represented as an attribute (id) instead of a tag.
I'll fix it in the coming release.

I just installed the newest version (I've been using 0.9.5 for a long time) and the plugin wouldn't work due to an XML error.

Here it is:
XML error: > required at line 17 in file /srv/www/htdocs/beerpla.net/lzg_root/2006/2006.07.08.London/captions.xml

The line is:
<photo id='42.Buckingham's.Palace.3.JPG'>

As you see, the id contains a single quote and breaks promptly.

It should be either wrapped in CDATA or escaped properly.

That is not true, You don't need Windows software.
You can upload files by ftp or with the Lazyest Gallery file uploader on the Edit Folder page.
The XP upload wizard is an extra for Windows XP users. You don't need it to get your files to your gallery.

You stylesheet code for menu tab highlighting is this:

#nav .page_item a.selected {
	background:url(images/bg_menu.png) no-repeat left bottom;
	color: #01242f;

It relies on the link to the current page having the class "selected", which it doesn't.

The list item containing the current page link does have the class "current_page_item", though, so you could try changing the code to:

Cyborg.
What version of Lazyest Gallery are you running?
Lazyest Gallery is now using the Wordpress shortcode tags.
If you have changed host, you have to use the new syntax.
Try
[lg_gallery]

Good luck
for more information about Lazyest Gallery check http://brimosoft.nl/lazyest/

Hey guys, I had to switch hosts, and after the switch, my pages are not working correctly.

problem is here: http://www.crazycyborg.com

While at home, click the link to "My Rig" and you will notice "My Rig" tab doesnt change colours to notify the user what page they are on (Same problem when going to "Gallery". - The page tab colour used to change before the switch.

Also I am using Lazyest Gallery for my gallery, and on that page, you will notice also the gallery isnt displayed, instead "[[lg-gallery]]" is displayed (the code that Lazyest dev says to use to display the gallery). - This was also working before the switch.

I am not sure, but only assuming both of these problems are happening because of the same reason, wondering if anyone can help me out.

Thanks, Cyborg.
