Geekess on "[Plugin: IImage Browser] Iimage Browser 1.5.2 doesn't work with Wordpress 2.5.1"

For a long time I have used Skrikers beautifull IImage Browser plugin with Wordpress. But unfortunately: when I upgraded Wordpress to version 2.5.1 the plugin broke. When I click the IImage Browser button, only a popup opens with the site, instead of the usual imageupload/browse popup.
This means I will have to find another plugin that has the same functionality. I have tried the native Wordpress media function, but it isn't near as configurable as the IImage Browser plugin. Too bad...

How do you change the image directory for the plugin. I get the themes folder as my root directory and cannot navigate above the theme folder.

This is not so much a plugin, but an upgrade to an existing WordPress plugin called: IImage Browser, by far the best image plugin out there. It lets you create thumbnails (in any size you want), which makes it an awesome partner for Lightbox JS.

Thanks Viper, I have contacted the Hosting support and they fixed the GD issue.

Now it works fine.

Thanks very much.

Yeah, you don't have GD installed which is what I believe that and most other plugins use.

Make us a phpinfo file so we can see your version of GD (assuming you have it installed) as I believe that's what the script uses.

is the same for .jpeg, .gif, .jpg & .png.
In the options i have these formats but no hope.

any clue about whats wrong?

unfortunately the site is not self hosted and also the host might not change anything in the php.ini file.
I asked them for a change for some other issue and I was replied with a sorry.

Can you guide me with any other plugin with which i can post thumbnails into posts?
Please let me know.

You're hitting a limit on your server in the available memory assigned to any PHP process, which is typically left at its default setting (8MB). The GD/graphics library functions are pretty memory-intensive.

If this is a hosted site, you could try asking them if they'd increase the limit. Alternatively if this is self-hosted or you are able to access the PHP config file (php.ini), you could modify the memory_limit setting.
