Over the past few days, I have had the pleasure of working together with Dylan to resolve a number of issues. I must say, I am impressed with the quality of service he provided and the professionality, he demonstrated in tackling my issues.

I heartily recommend the plugin and encourage you to contact the author, if you run into any issues.

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to add a search box next to the embedded map. I have a big map on my front page and want vistitors to be able to search for updates near them using a search box. Have looked around for ages but am probably missing something right in front of me?

Thanks in advance!

p.s map is part of the template

This can be done the same way it's done for posts, but it requires some background with templates. After that, the documentation should be clearer.

@Nomex - These errors should be harmless, they come from adding database keys that are already there. I tried to detect those messages in English, but obviously that doesn't work in other languages. I'm going to have to change that, stay tuned. I may have to make another release that just ignores database errors altogether.

If you want to go back to 1.1.3, you can download it here:

I reinstalled the plugin by deactivating it, deleting the plugin directory in wp-content and then reuploading it again (via ftp off course).

After activation it worked again!

See it in action @ http://www.ducked.nl/geomashup/

I just found out how to reset the options.

Login into you database manager, like PHPmyadmin or so

Open wp_options

Search for option_name: geo_mashup_options

delete this row

Done!

It doesnt work yet, but we're on the right path!

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Wordpress v2.6, but now I cant use GeoMashup. Another plugin also stopped working after the upgrade, but this plugin (nextgen gallery) had an option to reset all settings to default values. This solved the problem for the nextgen gallery.

Unfortunately I havent found an similiar option for the GeoMashup plugin...

The values in the wp admin screen of the GeoMashup plugin screen are garbled, they check

My question: How to reset all options to their default values?

I’m trying to incorporate Geo Mashup generated Google map at the header of my post page. The best I could do is Home page with posts and Map page with the map showing all of the postings tagged on the map but not listed as posts under it. One strategy suggested by the maker of the plugin is to create a new (Map) page, point the plugin to post the map that page and somehow add the posts (post loop) where I want the pages to appear and use the Map page as my Home page. I can do everything except show the posts under the map. Does the loop only work with the index page? Does anyone have suggestions?
