Hi,

I love this plugin so much and it works perfect with my Wordpress 2.8.6.

I would really appreciate it, if the author offers exact this same plugin for categories. There are a lot of bad plugins around here for managing categories, but often only with 1 widget. So I cannot use them, because new themes often have 3 or more sidebars, for which more instances of the same widget/plugin is needed.

Flexi-Pages offers this.

What about "Flexi-Categories"?

:-)

Hi,

following on from the resolved Navigation help topic I can now get the nav bar to display in bold. Excellent!

Is there a way of changing the colour of the nav bar as well? I've tried generally messing around with style.css but nothing I do there seems to affect the colour of the output text.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Hi all :)

This is my first visit to this part - Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...

I have little experience in the back end of WordPress and have come across a problem I can't seem to solve with widgets and or plugins.

I'm trying to make it so that sub pages only show in the navigation list when I'm on a parent page or one of the sub pages that shares the same parent page. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what to change or add?

I have this code at the moment (from the template I'm adapting):

	<?php

	$pages = get_pages();
	//print_r($pages);
	//list_pages_by_category(0, true, true, '', '
', '
', true, false, false); ?>

 <?php if ( !function_exists('dynamic_sidebar')
 || !dynamic_sidebar() ) : ?>

<a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>" <?php if (is_home()) echo " class=\"selected\""; ?> title="<?php bloginfo('name')?>: Startpage" >Home

<?php

$parent = '';
/*
if(is_home()) {
	$parent = '&depth=1';
}
else {
	$parent = '&child_of=' . $post->ID;
}
*/

wp_list_pages('title_li=&sort_column=menu_order');

?>
<?php endif; ?>

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...

Flexi Pages Widget works as advertised for pages that use the Default Template. If I use a custom template, however, the Flexi Pages tree view refuses to show the children of that page. I have "List sub-pages only in parent and related pages in hierarchy" set.

The plugin doesn't disallow any customization. Styling is something that differs from theme to theme, so it's not dealt with in the plugin. It's just that.

So, you can put something like the following code in the style.css file of your theme to customize the looks of parent pages and child pages.

.flexipages_widget li { font-weight:bold; } // parent pages
.flexipages_widget li li { font-style:italic; } // child pages

The above code will display the parent page names bold and child pages italized. You can of course, define any styling as you like.

Hi, Im currently having issues trying to create a menu. Im trying to get the menu to display parents only until you click one and then it will display the children. Ive got this far with the Flexi Pages Widget but it wont allow me to customize the style of the child links.. they just adopt the same style as parents.

Hi,

I was looking in this plugin to see if I could make it possible to have multiple seperate Flexi Pages Widgets.

The author of this plugin told that it would be possible to have this in a later release, but maybe people are willing to pick this up too ?

I have checked Breukies-pages because that one is multiple to and you can make more widgets that registers more into the DB.

My question actually is, it this multiple part possible to apply or does it require a whole rewrite of the plugin ?

As far as I could see that Breukies plugin... you could add it.

Please give your comments.
