Out of the 6 plug-ins that came with my template, the one that references a flash player is this one...

WP-FLV: This plugin eases insertion of Jeroen Wijerings FLV Video Player

And yes,it is still activated. I notice that when I was using WordPress.com, I had options to insert YouTube videos, Google, and there was one other. Now, when I click on the 'add video' symbol and then proceed to 'URL', the only option I now have is to add a 'Video URL'.

I think I found the problem. I was disabling NextGen style sheets after installing Elegant Grunge theme as they were interfering with the Elegant Grunge theme's image frames. Disabling these style sheets caused thumbnail wrapping to fail. Once I enable the style sheet everything seems to work fine.

Now I need work on the stylesheet conflict resolution.

Thanks.

I think it might have something to do with this:

A caveat here: The regular expression that supports wrapping any kind of content block (as opposed to just images) uses a relatively modern feature of regular expressions called recursive sub-patterns, which will not work with PHP installations with an older PCRE regular expression library. Hence, the ‘@’ sign preceding the preg_replace_callback, which will cause it to fail silently, without throwing error messages everywhere.

My server is running PCRE Library Version 6.6 06-Feb-2006

Is that the problem?

I think there is something wrong with elegant-grunge theme.

I created a new blog with default WP theme. Installed latest NextGen gallery and lightbox2 on latest WP build. My thumbnails were wrapping as expected. Then I installed elegant-grunge theme. The wrapping was gone and all the thumbnails appeared in a single row. I tried switching back to the default WP theme, but now it looks like thumbnail wrapping is broken. I have tried multiple themes since then but I cannot achieve the wrapping back.

http://anunay.com/blog/?p=16&nggpage=2 (Second blog with the same issue)

Any ideas on what is going wrong?

1. Check it with firebug, so you can find at the best where are the problems.

2. Switch to default theme , which doesn't added a lot of css, so it didn't get in conflict with your customization

I'm using NextGen gallery with lightbox2 on Mike's Elegant Grunge WP theme. I'm trying to achieve effect as this http://michael.tyson.id.au/photoblog/ on my blog. Unfortunately thumbnails on my blog are not wrapping and are appearing in a single line see http://samairakumar.com/?p=3.

In NextGen Plugin setting under Gallery > Options > Gallery, I tried changing the "Number of columns" setting to 0, 2, 3 but non of these settings made my thumbnails to wrap. Changing thumbnail size and aspect ratio didn't help either.

Any ideas on what I should try next?

Okay, I have now got some images working and others not.

I noticed that sometimes when I add an image, the following code is generated:

When I first inserted my header, it was centered. Today, it suddenly shifted left. I've checked line 22. It still says center. Does anyone know how to move my header image back to center?

I did as you said. Went to Admin, then Posts, then Categories, then under the heading General I clicked on Edit under that. I tried to change the title from General to Links and changed the slug as well. Then I clicked Update and the page said "Category not updated."

Am I missing a step somehow? Is there another way to do it?

Hello,

Would someone please tell me how to move a Page from the page menu to one of the navigation buttons in my theme's header? (i.e.,homepage,about me,about this site, etc.)

I'm working with a theme that I've simply forgotten how to re-arrange some of my Pages location.

Thanks in advance.

gday

I called my blog category "General" since I didn't know what else to call it. Now that I have several blog posts, how would I change the title of blog category from "General" to what I want?
