Hi all,

I'm new to WordPress, so all help is gratefully received!

I've recently installed Deko Boko which works great, but I'd like to include my contact form in my footer.php file, so that it appears on every page. I realise the usual way to include it is to simply write [dekoboko] in a post. That works fine, but does anyone have any idea how I might include the contact form in plain php/html?

Cheers for the help!

I get a weird message on my homepage when I activate contact form 7, this is the message:

Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/www/vhosts/humanistaidindia.org/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_uploads/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/deb25453/:/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php/) in /usr/home/deb25453/domains/humanistaidindia.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/file.php on line 214

I think it got something to do with me moving the website to a different hosting. I think it directs to a false directory. Does somebody knows how to fix this???

Contact Form 7 - Version 2.0.7 (just updatds it also and it put all my styling out) !! not sure what to do to fix this? any one know that as well?

Well lets get down to my main problem! I am hosted on Go Daddy for now.. when ever I send a test at my contact form it will sendmail really slow(may even take up to 10-15 mins before I get it in my Inbxo), instant or sometimes not at all! Any idea what is causing this? is it because my host cannot handle these request very well?

Let me know what you guys thinks. Thanks for all your help

(Also if anyone could help with me fixing the styling of mt forms that would be good too.. maybe there is an easy fix instead of re-doing it all again =)

I had been searching for a list of world languages that could be copy-pasted into Contact forms for a drop down menu in the same way chris jinks had supplied a list of all countries here:

Hi there.

I wonder if anybody knows of a plugin or a way of making a contact form that lets the viewer select the recipient using checkboxes? We'd rather do this than have 5 different contact forms.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Hello All,

I'm a newbie looking for some assistance. My goal is to find a theme (preferably free but willing to pay for premier) that has a built in contact form front and center. I'm trying to replicate this look:

http://www.helpareporter.com/

Simple, some text, with a contact form (I'd actually like to have two contact forms right on the home page). I assume this is possible using wordpress and there may even be a theme set up this way. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance, and if this isn't the right forum, my apologies.

Best,

This contact form has the redirect feature:

Fast and Secure Contact Form
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/si-contact-form/

On the options page is a checkbox: "Enable redirect after the message sends."
After a user sends a message, the web browser will display "message sent" for 5 seconds, then redirect to this URL. You can make it redirect to any URL you want, including a custom thank you page.

Can't say thank you Bob though.

Is there a contact form plugin that does either of the following:

1. redirects the user to a new page that thanks him/her for submitting the form?

2. thanks them personally in the confirmation page, so as an example, passes the info from the name field so I can say thank you Bob or whatever for submitting this form?

Found a fix!

It turns out that an empty or null entry in the wp_options table gets mysteriously created. More info here

Deleting the empty entry fixes this problem, but the root cause, how that entry was created in the first place remains a mystery.

It's recommended that the wp_options table be cleaned up after a while, because installing and removing plugins add up to the junk entries in the database. Check out this post by ShoalinTiger for more info.

Oh no! I am using the same contact form and was just about to upgrade to 2.8.5 - Good that you found that out. I will have to look for another contact form (Secure and Accessible worked great...)

I've isolated the plugin that has caused this problem:

Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form by Mike Cherim and Mike Jolley

The strange is, I've been using this plugin for years and it's only now that it has caused a problem like this.

It's been three days after I upgraded to WP 2.8.5 and just last night, my blog started to act weird.

It displays the Blog's title and post title but no content.

I did a fresh install of WP this morning and thought everything was ok. But just a few hours ago, the same problem occurred again.

Please help!

Hi.
I'd like to use a contact form plugin, but I need one concrete feature:
- I need to include Post URL or Post Title where contact form is displayed.

Which plugin I could use?

I have Contact Form 7 setup on two different wp installs.

Pretty slick little plug-in, but the extra fields that we create don't send.

I'm receiving an eMail with a subject, from name, eMail & message.
None of the other stuff is coming through.

Does Contact From 7 work?

Hi,

Im playing with the idéa to have contact forms on specific pages.
I would love to show these with some kind of ajax-style. When i press "Contact us" The page should slide down and then present contact forms. When pressed again, they should collaps.

The problem is that i have no clue how to do this. My "read more" function does not work on pages.

Yes, i have added the code, but still does not work.
<?php global $more;
$more = 0; ?>
Only thing that happens is that i get #more-25 added in the end of the URL when pressed once.

Does anybody have any tips or ideas?

Thanks a ton

Hey folks, I'm currently building a wordpress-based site that functions as a content management system for a not-so-tech-savvy client and I've run into the following issue.

We have a category of posts called biographies, where the client can post brief bios of members and I am looking for a way to have each of these posts display a contact form (preferably in a sidebar but that might be wishful thinking) that is specific to the person who's bio it is.

Is there a plugin or solution that would allow me to post a contact form for each page that has a unique Mail-to field, hopefully this can be accomplished by plugging in custom field values that we already generate (to make a bio the client must enter in the person's email address into a custom field anyways).

So, in short, I need a contact form plugin that allows me to place a custom field value (in this case email) into the "mail to" field and be able to have that be flexible enough that it could be used for dozens of different emails.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know!
