This plugin does not work, at least not with sub-domains yet, I wouldn't waste your time downloading it.

I gave the plugin author a test account on my site to look into it and all he did was screw around on it (Added in links to his site, created a blog, etc...).

Yes, I activated the plugin site wide. I see the plugin options for each sub blog I have as well. I have read through all of the FAQs.

Hmmm, I really have no idea why it's not working. I have uninstalled the plugin a couple different times. Each time I install it I get the same thing.

Did you activated the plugin side-wide? use the "Network Activate" link when activated the plugin?

looking at the video, I don't have that dropdown with the global configuration in it? I am logged in as super user on my main blog.

Anyone know why the Asynchronous Google Analytics for WordPress plugin isn't working? Or has anyone got this to work?

I have unchecked the "Track Sub Domains And Merged into One Analytics Account ID" but when I enter in the ID into a sub blog it WILL NOT save it! The page just refreshes and all the fields are empty again.

Also when I click on the "Async Google Analytics is not active. You must enter your UA String for it to work." link at the top, it just takes me to the dashboard.

The first problem is obviuosly more important, as I can't use this plugin on any of my subblogs, which is the only reason I downloaded it :-)

You can commented the line 13 on asyncgoogleanalytics.php as follow:
before:
session_start();
after
//session_start();

the plugin still working normally without php session. The php session only help the plugin to initialize custom tracking more faster.

The plugin is not (and I'm not sure that it ever has) tracking my outbound blogroll links. I can see that the code appears to be working for links in articles etc.
I am on the current version of the plugin with wordpress 3.0.2

hi,

using your latest 3.03 upgrade, im getting 1 JS error in IE8/Windows.

custom-aga-min.js?ver=2.0.3, line 1 character 632
Object doesn't support this action
item=window.AGA_LINKS_DATA.data[g]

its also breaking my WP Carousel plugin...producing this error:
stepcarousel.js?ver=3.0.2, line 293 character 3
'$gallery' is null or not an object
config.$gallery.unbind()

when i disable your plugin, the Carousel works fine with no errors.

Hi Den, Thanks for your report. It's a bug in aga_tools.php file when 'allow_url_fopen' php setting was disable. I've been fixed in the latest version (3.0.2). Please upgrade the plugin. Thanks.

First of all, link back credit will never been add in the footer if you didn't wish to add the credit link (Please disable / keep unchecked the option) in plugin's panel. It will not add any link back credit at anyway (neither write as html/as hidden link).. (not like any other plugin that still add the hidden link even you didn't want too).

The second, about "im_your_friend" function as you can see in the plugin source code, it is only generate XFN meta tags in header that will help us to add your blog / website into our blogroll list. XFN also was W3C standard that usefull for search engine like Google, Yahoo, etc.. to get relationship information between one site to another site. So, you don't have to worry about negative impact on SEO with Google because my plugin to help you increase your SEO and not vice versa.

I am noting a function above the credit inclusion in the footer with the same links back to author's site and blog. I note there is another "resolved" post about hidden links that suggested a negative impact on SEO with Google. I am curious to what this function does and if it will cause a penalty at the cost of what appears to be more links to author.
