It's usage is simple but powerful with templates and categories.
I love it if I use it in standalone, but it kills functions of SimplePie.

First of all, many thanks to the plugin author for updating this to work with the new Amazon API.

The problem I have is that the moment I add more than eleven instances of the shortcode in a single post, the entire post content disappears (at least when I preview it).

I was writing a multi-review post and it took me ages to work out what was going on. Delete the twelfth instance of shortcode and everything comes back.

Is this a plugin limitation? Or Wordpress? Or something to do with the Amazon API?

Any ideas, anyone?

Had a client add a new book to their AmazonSimpleAdmin collection, and the entire collection list disappeared in the admin section, with a fatal error showing in the AsaCore.php file (at line 654 I believe)- sorry I didn't copy the error message.

Looking at the AsaCore.php coding, it was a line to do with the URI of the book.

When I found this post I assumed it was an ' apostrophe issue. I deleted the book from the database, then the collection reappeared. Turned out several books in the collection have an apostrophe, so clearly we were running a version of AmazonSimpleAdmin which had fixed the issue here.

So I looked up the book on Amazon, and it turns out it has ( ) in the title... so I suspect that's what caused the breakage.

Not many books have that in their title, so I just told my client to avoid ones like that for the moment - any ideas on how this or other potential symbol problems can be avoided in future. Not enough of a PHP coder to know what to do here...

Sorry, I should say post template rather than page template.

And for how to use custom fields, please see the documentation page.

Not yet. Since some plugins that I'm currently using haven't been updated. Once those are updated I will update my installation.

I'm not creating a page however. I'm just creating a post. So in the custom feilds what would I put for this book as an example

http://www.amazon.com/Spawn-Neo-Noir-David-Hine/dp/1582409811/

If each post is a book, perhaps you can use custom fields. An easy way of using this would be to use e.g. More Fields and then include the template tag into your page template.

Not sure if it works for 2.3.3 though. Any plans to upgrade your installation soon?
