It took a few hours to figure out the problem but it should work now. The [Translate] button shouldn't appear when you use <code>the_excerpt</code> anymore.</p> <p>For some reason <code>get_the_excerpt</code> uses the filter <code>wp_trim_excerpt</code> which uses the filter <code>the_content</code> which is where this plugin hooks into the posts and pages.
