I figured out a way to get stats in a widget - it is not the Wordpress.com stats, but by using the StatPress Reloaded plugin, you can put the page views in the widget that comes with it.

You can see an example on my page: http://snapshots.actioncambodia.org

thanks, that subpage-idea is a nice approach i didn't thought about.

another solution is to use a special field called "menu" and set this value depending on which menu you want to belong the page.
in the template you you list the pages depending on this meta-value...

(by the way there is a plugin to pre-define special fields keys and values as a set radio-buttons... which makes this solution looking less like a "hack" for clients)

I'm using Wordpress to post some of my stories and I'm using YARPP for my related post. This plugin's working fine, except one thing.
I have some post with around 10 episode, YARPP can list some of those post in one post, but it just displaying random number. For example, when reading the "ep 6", it displaying 2,4,8,13,23. It should display the list of episode which are closest to the currently ep ( at least it should display the next ep in the related box ).
Sorry for my english, I tried my best to express my ideal

The problem I'm seeing with the iframe change is that, unlike before, now any local users set as 'Editor' can see the reports and they do not need to be logged into Wordpress.org! I'd still like people who are capable of editing posts to be able to do so without seeing the stats, but with that change I cannot.

So, in the meantime, I rolled back the change. Is it possible to add a new role/cap so I could change that capability on a per-user basis by using the Role Manager plugin?

oh no...-_-'' so then how do i make it "secure...?" Should I remove that screencap? Anyways, I'm using the recommended one, & his support is terrible. Hasn't answered any of my messages...

http://shiftingpixel.com/2008/03/03/smart-image-resizer/comment-page-7/#comment-1816

And I need a script or plugin that can resize my images without making 3 or 4 different copies, to save space, as well as proper resizing without pixelation.

I KNOW right!!!
So crap.

Someone please make an easy poll. Just the basic easiest poll you can think of.

I'm annoyed slightly that often, Wordpress is supposed to be easy to use and install. Not needing much skills at all, perhaps a basic understanding of code, at color/size level, nothing more.

And lots of plugins are really easy to install. But suddenly, some plugins are so fucking hard to install, that if you were that good at coding, you could have made it yourself. These demands you know php all the way and see all problems beforehand. That contradicts completely with what I consider to be Wordpress philosophy. And If Wordpress is gonna keep on striving for that goal of becoming universally userfriendly. Then you need to improve this.

Hi. I just activated the plugin and get six messages, all over the site:

Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of [runtime function name](). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in .... htmlPart.class.php at line 184.

There were two for line 184, and four to line 222.

This makes any sense to someone?
