In July of 2011, UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School launched MBA@UNC, a groundbreaking online MBA program for ambitious professionals. Through the use of innovative technologies and real-world immersion experiences, MBA@UNC blends the flexibility of an online program with the rigor and quality of an on-campus experience. MBA@UNC allows faculty and classmates to interact in a vibrant learning community that sets UNC Kenan-Flagler apart from other online programs.

Why it’s in the Showcase: The MBA@UNC site uses WordPress as a CMS to showcase news, engage prospective students, and highlight its diverse and global community of students and alumni. The site demonstrates how pre-eminent institutions of higher education are innovating and re-branding themselves in today’s digital age. The site leverages social networks to attract audiences and uses the blog feature to showcase a range of articles related to business, MBA admissions, and student experiences. The flexibility and ease of use of WordPress enable Kenan-Flagler staff and partners to update content regularly – videos, white papers, faculty/staff profiles, and more.
