Why it’s in the Showcase: The site recently moved from TypePad, which it had been on since 2000, to WordPress 3.0. The move required that that nearly 1000 posts and 13,000 comments to move over to WordPress. The site makes heavy use of the new custom posts feature from WordPress 3.0 in the site’s Dinner @ 8 section.
