WWPass authentication plugin for WordPress
WWPass provides a two-factor authentication service to help protect you and your data from the cyber criminals hacking into your website(s) with stolen usernames and passwords.
By enabling your site to use WWPass you get a solution that is more secure than any other two-factor authentication and you can eliminate usernames and passwords pairs entirely.
Instead of entering a username and password, the user clicks on a button ‘Login with WWPass’. The user is then prompted to present their WWPass PassKey™ (via USB or NFC) and enter their access code. It’s that easy.
There is a lot of technical detail to complete the logon, but we’ll make this as simple as possible.
When the user clicks on the ‘Login with WWPass’ button, the website communicates with WWPass to authenticate the website (this helps to protect against phishing and spoofed websites). Once the website has been validated, it sends a ticket to the PassKey which then in turn continues the authentication of the user with WWPass. The data that identifies the user to the website is then read from WWPass and is sent to the website to complete the logon.
The most advanced login security available. For you, your customers, and your business partners.
There isn’t one. We believe that our patented technology provides the most secure authentication solution available. We are looking for early adopters which is why we are giving away the KeySets. All we ask is that you give us your feedback.
