Displays a twitter conversation/wall for a particular hash tag in your posts/pages using shortcode.

Ever wanted to display tweets for a given hashtag right in the body of your article? Well, now you can, thanks to the Twitter Hashtag-based Conversation wordpress plugin.

After reading your post, people may be interested in what the world is saying right now about the subject matter of your post. This plugin allows you to do just that. Type the shortcode where you want to have the Twitter stream displayed, specify the hashtag, that's it.

What does it do?

It displays the most recent twitter status updates for a particular hash tag in your posts/pages using shortcode.

How?

So as not to slow down the rest of the page, this fine plugin uses Ajax (asynchronous javascript) to query the Twitter API for the specified hashtag. It automatically refreshes the data every 60 seconds (adjust that in the plugin settings).

An options screen allows you to set some defaults and to provide your own translations to the English-defaults strings of text. You can access it from the WP-admin interface via the "Settings" > "Twitter Hashtag Conversation" Options page.
