I don't understand what the advantage of this plugin is either, though it's been recommended to me. I burn my podcast feed through Feedburner and that has all the settings for iTunes, etc. Is this plugin worth it for stats? Otherwise it just seems redundant to me.

I had incompatibility problems with podpress and my feed. Eventually I disabled the podpress plugin (as much as I didn't want to disable it). I installed the one pixel out audio player and it seems to do just fine. It left me wondering what the advantages are to using the podpress plugin. I had already added my feed to iTunes and other podcast directories.
