This plugin does what no other plugin can do (or at leasst I've never been able to find one). It's vital for my site that I put images into different folders, and that I can move them around AFTER they've been uploaded. This plugin does the job. Wish it was part of Wordpress Core!

If you need to move files around (in and out of subdirectories), Wordpress is a real pain as you can't just move the file and then edit the URL in the Media Library. This is essentially what this plugin (and few or no others as far as I can tell) does. When you need it, you'll really need it and will bless its cotton socks. Half a star docked for a strange and potentially confusing interface, rounded up from 4.5 to 5 because it still worked. 🙂

I was surprised first by the graphical interface - I felt insecure with this kind of icons, don't know why... But when I really tested , I got no problems to move , rename, etc.

I forgot to set "Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders". I was able to move thousands of files to more appropriate locations without issue.

After installation once you enable the plugin it gives an error and does not start. Not worth installing and using till bug gets fixes. Request the developers to fix the problem. However, i am using the same plugin but an older version in the latest Wordpress 4.4.2 and it is still working good.
