Locations

Locations is a simple-to-use plugin for adding Locations with Maps to your WordPress Theme using a shortcode.

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload the contents of /locations/ to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate Easy Locations through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Visit this address for information on how to configure the plugin: http://goldplugins.com/documentation/locations-documentation/

Please Note You will want to get a free Google Maps API key, so that the Locations plugin can use their geocoder to convert the addresses of your locations into Latitude and Longitude coordinates. You can get an API key from Google for free at this URL: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial#api_key

Once you have the API key, you should update the Locations plugin's settings to include it.
