Google Analytics Link (GAL) gives WordPress Administrators super-quick access to the current page's or post's Google Analytics information.
Once you are logged into WP as an Administrator, you can find the link at the top of your page or post in the Admin Bar (aka ToolBar), typically next to the "+ New" link. See the video for an example.
You can set the Google ID from the plugin's settings page. To get your Google Analytics URL ID, navigate to your web property in [Google Analytics http://www.google.com/analytics/ and review the URL in your browser. You should see something like: https://www.google.com/analytics/web/?hl=en#home/axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx3428/. Your URL ID is the part that looks like the following: axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx3048. You should put this into the GAL plugin settings page.
There are a few reasons for this error, but the most common is if you click on the GAL link from the dashboard. If you are visiting the page as an Administrator, you will click the link from the Admin bar.
