Description

This plugin is designed to keep a WordPress site dark. If a user comes to the site, it checks to see if they are logged in, if not the user is directed to the wp-admin login page. When you want to go live, just deactivate the Dark Site plugin.

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload darksite directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. De-Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

How does it work

Using dark-site is very simple. Install the plug-in and activate. As soon as dark-site is activate a site visitor that is not logged in will be redirected to the wp-login page. If the visitor is logged in , they won’t be bothered.

De-Activate the dark-site plug in your admin panel/plugins
