Plugin Directory

Bookmark, Share, Simple.

A simple way to bookmark or share any page on your site.

  1. Upload the folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. You will need to find some social icons. For example, Paul Robert Lloyd's social media icons. Upload the 24px (or higher, but the page will load slower) version of the icons anywhere you want, however you must have a full URL to the image. For page speed reasons, I recommend you upload them either on a CDN or on your own site though. You can have 6 icons.
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
  4. Go to the settings pane and fill in the complete URLs of the images.
  5. When the icon for each sharing service is clicked, a popup window will appear with the Javascript URL of each service. There are default Javascript URLs for Delicious, Digg, Facebook, Pinboard, Reddit, and Twitter. Fill in the URL in Javascript form in the Javascript URL text field for each service. For example, for Twitter, the Javascript URL would be 'http://twitter.com/share?text=' + encodeURIComponent(document.title) + '&url=' + encodeURIComponent(window.location).
  6. The plugin should now work and display at the top left of your site.
