wp_get_attachment_image resize on the fly or add proper size tags
When calling an image with wp_get_attachment_image or any other image functions, when an image size is not found, WordPress should try to generate it on the fly, and if not, calculate the resized dimensions and put them in the width and height attributes. Currently it will serve the full size image, which can be resized with css, but not as effectively, especially on the sad browser known as IE where it can get distorted if you don't know what proportion to expect.
Hello, I totally agree, WordPress is really a platform for exellence side developer. However, the administration interface is the big flaw always long to load.
Try this plugin - http://austinmatzko.com/downloads/plugins/custom-image-sizes.zip
If you call wp_get_attachment_image() or any other image function (and the appropriate image size is not found), WordPress will try to generate one automatically.
